DOLLS MUSEUM

Late Field Marshall Sam Manekshaw was one of India’s greatest heroes but not many know that he was also fond of playing with dolls. In his bedroom, atop a cupboard sat a row of dolls. The Field Marshal promptly explained: “I always wanted to play with dolls. When I was young, my mom wouldn’t allow me to, then my wife came along, and I still was not allowed to. Finally, I told myself, ‘ now I am the Field Marshall, I will damn well do as I please and went and got myself the dolls!’
Sanskriti School has its own dolls museum where there are dolls from different countries as well as different states of India. The dolls are not merely for showcase but are used as learning aids to teach about different cultures
